Ludlow is a historic market town on the River Teme in the Welsh Marches, surrounded by beautiful surroundings. With over 500 listed structures, the town offers a diverse spectrum of architecture, including Ludlow Castle, which is almost 900 years old and one of England’s first stone castles. The castle is now open all year and organises a variety of events such as outdoor theatre, culinary, art, and literature festivals, as well as several antique and art fairs. Millenium Green, located below the castle, features a huge public riverside green and weir, as well as good indoor and outdoor dining options via the Green Cafe, which is positioned right on the river. Since the twelfth century, Ludlow has had street markets. Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday throughout the year, a traditional open-air market takes place in the town square.
