The small village of Pwllglas lies four miles south of the hilltop town of Ruthin, which lies to the north of Llangollen via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass. Within the village you will find a small shop with a quaint cafe, perfect for enjoying a coffee and cake before exploring the surrounding area which includes a nearby butterfly conservation area and an old fort. Within Ruthin, you will find a larger selection of amenities and on its doorstep is Lake Brenig, Moel Famau, Loggerheads Country Park and Clocaenog Forest.
