Standing in the small hamlet of Stalham Staithe, a conservation area offering a relaxing waterside holiday location, these detached holiday houses, Solace (UKC2122), Riverside (UKC2296) and Teasel (UK11486) are nestled within the owner’s boatyard, where daily motor launches are available for private hire. River fishing is also available right on the doorstep (seasonal and licence required). The Norfolk Broads Museum is a few minutes’ walk away where you can discover the history of boating and The Broads. Wroxham, known as the capital of the Broads, is only 8 miles away.
A great family fun day out can be had at BeWILDerwood, a tree top adventure in Horning. The seaside resort of Sea Palling is 3½ miles away, or for quieter sandy beaches, take a trip to Waxham and Horsey. The city of Norwich makes for a great day out, with its cathedral, theatre, castle museum, excellent shopping, restaurants and cafés. Enjoy a day at the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, only 16 miles away. The Weavers Way runs through the town and provides good walking and cycling opportunities.
