Mundesley, a delightful Norfolk coastal village, with shops, cafés, a popular golf course, a huge park with play areas, a magnificent sandy beach with brilliantly coloured beach huts, and picturesque houses fashioned in local flint stone. Cromer and Sheringham, both prominent beach towns, are nearby. Sheringham is notable as a station for steam locomotives travelling on the Poppy Line Heritage Railway. Mundesley is an excellent starting point for visiting the rest of Norfolk.
