The delightful village of Lowdham is a historic civil parish based in the heart of Nottinghamshire, situated in the middle of the hubs of Nottingham and Southwell. The small village is steeped in history, with links to Danish origins and evidence from the Middle Ages which still remain now, including a knight figure and an alabaster slab, whilst contemporary amenities consist of two convenience stores, several pubs, a Post Office, takeaways and a quaint bookshop.
