Sutton Poyntz is a pretty village on the northern side of Preston, Weymouth, Sitting beneath the George III chalk horse that is carved into the hillside. Just 3.5 miles from Weymouth and it’s golden sandy beach, lanes of boutique shops, sea life centre and historic harbour this is a perfect village base for exploring the Jurassic Coast. Just 13 miles away are the UNESCO world Heritage sites of Lulworth Cove and Durdle, a short drive further on finds you are Corfe Castle, most recently famous as the inspiration in many Enid Blyton Famous five novels, make sure you take a trip on the Steam train.
