Rookhope is a historic mining village found in County Durham, situated in the North Pennines AONB, home to a village store, local pub and a handy garage. Nearby is the market town of Stanhope offering an even wider selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, cafés, art galleries, a swimming pool, and a scenic riverside location, as well as the C2C cycle route.
