The town is also known as Na Crois Bhealaí, or The Crossroads, and is located in the largest Gealtacht area in County Donegal. There are a variety of amenities including traditional pubs and bars that regularly showcase vibrant Irish music, where a warm Irish welcome is guaranteed. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, sights stretch towards the Derryveagh Mountains from the town, as well as the beautiful islands of Tory and Inishbofin. The Glenveagh National Park is nearby with yet more stunning views, offering wonderful walking opportunities.
