Sittingbourne is a modern market town situated in the Swale district of Kent in South East England. It is located by the Swale, a section of sea separating the Isle of Sheppy from the mainland, as well as sitting beside the Roman Watling Street. Sittingbourne offers a number of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants as well as the historic Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway.
