Moretonhampstead, Devon, is a small town that sits near the northern tip of Dartmoor National Park and offers a wide variety of services and attractions to its residents and visitors. There is a large selection of stores available, as well as four bars, an outdoor pool, a museum dedicated to automobiles, and an art gallery. A day trip to the Miniature Pony Centre is also possible and requires only a short car ride. Chagford, a nearby market town with a number of restaurants, is not far away, and Exeter, a short drive away, is where you’ll find the beautiful Exeter Gardens, the rushing River Exe, and the breath-taking Barley Valley Nature Reserve.
