Ruthin, a settlement on a hill, may be reached from Llangollen by travelling north through the magnificent Horseshoe Pass. In and around St. Peter’s Square, the town’s half-timbered buildings create a lovely scene. In addition to the many unique stores and structures, tourists should check out the Ruthin Gaol and the Ruthin Craft Centre, which features the work of regionally and globally acclaimed artists and crafters. Ruthin is conveniently located near a number of stunning natural areas, including Lake Brenig, Moel Famau Country Park, and Clocaenog Forest. The seashore, Snowdonia National Park, and old Chester are further away but still within driving distance.
