Southrepps, a little community in north Norfolk, is only five miles from Cromer. There are two stores and a popular bar in the small town. Overstrand village, perched on a cliff above a wide sandy beach, can be reached in less than four miles. Just five miles north of Southrepps is the beach village of Cromer, famous the world over for its Cromer crabs. Sheringham, a pleasant coastal town just a few miles up the coast, is where the North Norfolk Steam Railway pulls into for the day. Holt and Aylsham are two popular market towns not far from Norwich, which is home to the cathedral and many chances for wildlife and birdwatching.
