Beautiful Sea Palling is a coastal community conveniently situated halfway between Great Yarmouth, Cromer, and Norwich. The magnificent Norfolk Coast and the serenity of the Norfolk Broads can both be explored from here. The Blue Flag-winning beach has its very own lifeboat and the benefit of having RNLI lifeguards on duty every day. It also offers excellent sheltered swimming and watersports. With cafes, a tavern, an arcade, a post office, and a general shop, the community is well-served. If you want to explore the adjacent villages, the regular bus service is great, or you can rent a bike at the close-by Waxham Barns and take advantage of the peaceful, level country lanes. The neighbourhood is widely renowned for its population of grey seals, who may be seen lounging on the beaches of Sea Palling, Waxham, and Horsey. It also offers wonderful coastal trekking. Hickling Nature Reserve is nearby if you’re interested in more nature, and for those seeking a little more excitement, Norwich’s historic centre is only a short drive away. Boat rentals are available nearby for exploring The Broads in Stalham Strait, Potter Heigham, and the charming broads village of Wroxham, all of which are only a 15-minute drive away.
