Compo and Nora Battye’s stockings aren’t the only things that Holmfirth has to offer! The ‘Picturedrome’, the best live music venue in the north of England, is located directly in the middle of town and attracts many notable bands. Holme Valley, a small town in the Holme Valley Valley, is about two miles from the 524-meter Holme Moss climb on the 2014 Tour de France and the 2014 Tour de Yorkshire. These are the hills where Ed Clancy, the three-time Olympian cyclist, grew up.
