About where you'll be staying

Resting at the curve of the River Avon, is the small Worcestershire village of Offenham. Packed with history, this village was founded as a monastic grange and medieval deer park by the Benedictine Abbots of Evesham Abbey, which is thought to be the site of Simon de Montfort’s Army’s last stand. Today, the village houses a village hall, a pub and a village store with a Post Office. Also within the village, visitors will be delighted to find one of the few remaining, wooden maypoles in the country. Within 3.4 miles is the market town of Evesham, where you will find a larger selection of amenities and attractions including Abbey Park, the Bell Tower, the Almonry Museum and the Vale Light Railway. Further afield, you will find the medieval town of Stratford-upon-Avon, the city of Worcester and the pretty Cotswolds AONB. Offenham is a superb base for exploring this area further.
