Cockermouth is a market town situated within the north-western part of the Lake District. It hosts a number of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs as well as an impressive history. Whilst here, you can visit the National Trust property, Wordsworth House which was the birth place of William Wordsworth in 1770. The town also has access to the scenery and walking in the northern lakes.
