About where you'll be staying

Belton is a small, yet pretty village resting in the English county of Norfolk. Its peaceful location and a superb selection of amenities makes it a great base for holidaymakers, seeking to explore the coastal area. Within the village, resting to the east of the River Waveney, you will find one convenience store, Post Office, which is supported by a smaller shop, a ladies hairdressers and a take away, offering a thriving community. There are also two pubs at the opposite sides of the village, The (Railway) Tavern and the Kings Head for that well-deserved pint. Within the surrounding area, you will find the village of Burgh Castle and the coastal town of Gorleston-on-Sea, home to a golf course and an impressive lighthouse. Slightly further up the Norfolk coast is Great Yarmouth, a famous family destination with activities for all to enjoy. Spend days lazing on the fabled Golden Mile with its pristine sands, before spending fun-filled hours at the indoor and outdoor entertainment venues, which line the promenade. Whilst here, you can choose to adventure golf, sample freshly-cooked doughnuts, fish and chips or an ice cream, before you jump onto a rollercoaster or take in a superb show. Other attractions within the town include the SEA LIFE Centre, Joyland and Time and Tide Museum of Great Yarmouth Life, to uncover the town’s past. Also within striking distance of Belton is the beauty of The Broads, a National Park with over 125 miles of navigable lock-free waterway. Look forward to enjoying the fresh air, sparkling water and wide horizons of the park, filled with superb fishing spots and close encounters with wildlife at every turn. Discover its beauty by boat or venture alongside the rivers and lakes on the peaceful paths and cycle ways. With an area bursting with things to see and do, Belton is the perfect base for your next holiday.
