Hanbury is a pretty rural village offering a few shops and a restauarant, as well as the National Trust’s Hanbury Hall and Gardens, a country house with an orchard and parklands. Close by is Foster’s Green Meadows National Nature Reserve, as well as Broad Acres Lake, which is ideal for fishing. Redditch is a short drive away, with a range of amenities, as well as a museum and Arrow Valley Country Park, which has a river and a lake. Head into the Malvern Hills for some scenic walking trails through picturesque countryside, and visit the city of Worcester, to see its cathedral, museums, art gallery and enjoy strolling through Worcester Woods Country Park. The market town of Stratford-upon-Avon is a short drive away, as is the picturesque countryside of the Cotswolds.
