Uley, Gloucestershire is a short drive away from Selsley, a small village literally ‘perched’ deep in the Cotswold Hills. Aside from the miles of beautiful walks in the area, there are a host of great places to visit. Nailsworth, which is about 2 miles away has a great selection of local shops and some excellent restaurants. The town has very good amenities: two good restaurants various gastropubs, cafes, a pizzeria plus Indian and Chinese take-aways. There are many renowned attractions such as Westonbirt Arboretum and The Prince of Wales’ Highgrove Farm shop at Tetbury.
