The Stables, Wheatley

This Oxfordshire town sits in between the Chiltern Hills AONB and The Cotswolds. In terms of amenities, it is centred by a well-stocked High Street with shops, pubs and eateries to make the most of. It also has an 18th century church and a windmill dating from the same century. Close by is the magnificent city of Oxford, dominated by majestic architecture and with a multitude of high-quality shops, bars and restaurants – a fantastic day trip. The busy town of Aylsebury is also close by, offering the Waterside Theatre, the 15th century King’s Head coaching inn and the Buckinghamshire County Museum. Both the Chiltern Hills and the Cotswolds benefit from scenic walking and cycling routes.
