St John’s Chapel is a small village resting at the heart of the North Pennines AONB, which houses excellent bird watching, cycling and walking. Within the County Durham village you will find two pubs, a Post Office, a shop and a café. Within close reach is the larger market town of Stanhope which houses a wider choice of amenities and an outdoor pool. Slightly further afield is the city of Durham laced with tremendous architecture and a selection of attractions to enjoy.
