Chinley is a village nestled in a rural setting, on the western edge of the Peak District National Park. Those looking for gentler roaming can venture west along the beautiful Sett Valley Trail towards New Mills with the Torrs Riverside Park, a place for recreation and relaxation. Within a short drive are the High Peak villages of Chapel-en-le-Frith, boasting a cobbled marketplace and historic old stocks, and Whaley Bridge, with its canal basin and a good range of local amenities.
