Situated in the Peak District at the start of the Hope Valley is the pretty village of Hathersage. The area is a haven for walkers and cyclists, with the excellent walking path, Edale, within easy reach. Popular among tourists is the grave of “Little John” (of Robin Hood fame), however his existence is still up for debate. Famous for being the inspiration of Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre is the Hathersage vicarage. There is also an array of shops, pubs and places to eat.
