Nestled between the Dove and Manifold valleys in the Peak District is the village of Longnor, an old market town. Longnor has two pubs, a shop and a post office as well as a few other small businesses, while the larger towns can provide anything else you need not far away. Longnor is a great starting point for walks with routes varying from easy strolls along the river, to more serious hikes. The larger towns of Bakewell and Buxton are less than 10 miles away.
