Hathersage is a charming village in the Peak District National Park, at the head of the Hope Valley and close to Edale’s superb walking. Many people come to Hathersage to see the churchyard and the burial of “Little John” (of Robin Hood renown). There is a considerable assortment of stores, taverns, and restaurants for a village of its size, as well as a public, open-air heated swimming pool and railway station.
