Horsley Woodhouse is a small village between Kilburn and Stanley Common, near Derby and the Peak District National Park. The village’s annual carnival in July includes a float parade with prizes for the best float. In addition to a village shop and two pubs, this lovely residential area has everything visitors need to stock up on essentials or go out for the evening.
