Sherwood – Cosy Pod 2 is a single-storey wooden glamping pod set on a holiday park near Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire. The studio-style layout includes a double bed, which can be arranged as a twin, alongside a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, a dining area, and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Electric heating, WiFi and fuel and power are all included in the rent.
Outside, there is a non-enclosed decking area with outdoor furniture and a dedicated brick-built BBQ. One off-road parking space. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking.
Guests have access to shared on-site facilities including showers and bathrooms, a laundry with washing machines and tumble dryers, washing-up stations, a gift shop, and countryside walks throughout the surrounding woodland. Shop 2.8 miles, pub 1.5 miles, lake 3.4 miles. Note: Guests are to bring own bedding, towels, provisions and cleaning equipment. Note: Pods are designed for two people but can accommodate a maximum of 3 guests with space for guests to bring an an additional camp bed. Note: Additional parking is available at a cost of GBP7.50 per day. Note: To help protect the forest, the burning of natural wood is prohibited. Charcoal and eco logs may be used on site, provided that all BBQs and fire pits are raised above the ground and away from decking. All fires must be fully extinguished by 10pm.
